Opened in 1971, Nash General Hospital was the very first all-private room hospital in North Carolina. Since that time, we have grown steadily and today Nash General Hospital is a premier 280-bed medical facility featuring the latest technology and service capabilities. Nash Day Hospital

The opening of Nash Day Hospital in 1984 elevated quality health care in North Carolina to a new plateau. As the first freestanding outpatient hospital in the United States, Nash Day Hospital stays firmly on the cutting edge of health care technology, while maintaining the lowest ambulatory costs in the state. The resources and services of Nash Day Hospital include Radiology, Radiation Oncology, Endoscopy, Rehabilitation, and Surgery as well as being the home to the Nash Cancer Treatment Center.

Coastal Plain Hospital

Staffed by our team of dedicated and skilled psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and nurses, Coastal Plain Hospital is a complete health care resource for maximizing the emotional and behavioral health of our community. This unique facility features a 50-bed inpatient psychiatric and substance abuse treatment center, and offers inpatient and outpatient treatment services 24 hours-a-day for children, adolescents, adults and senior citizens. CPH specializes in the care and treatment of patients with needs including Depression, Anxiety, Mood Disorders, Personality Disorders, Marital, Parenting and Family Problems, Suicidal Thoughts or Tendencies, Chronic Mental Illness and Substance Abuse Treatment.

Bryant T. Aldridge Rehabilitation Center

This state-of-the-art facility offers inpatient and outpatient acute rehabilitation services. This is a unique 45,000 square foot, 23-bed health care facility located on a beautifully landscaped campus. We offer complete rehabilitation services for patients who require further care with needs including, but not limited to: Brain Trauma, Stroke, Joint Replacement, Degenerative Disease, and Spinal Injury. The Center features amenities and décor that are not only functional, but also thoughtfully designed to create a positive, home-like environment that encourages greater healing and rehabilitation. These unique amenities and services include:

• The Bridge Program – this program allows patients who have completed their hospital stay to continue to benefit from the rehabilitative resources of NHCS on an outpatient basis
  
• Therapeutic Walking Garden, Gymnasium, and Swimming Pool
  
• Décor designed to emulate the feel of an upscale hotel
